Terms of Service

Sidekick is a software service operated by Sidekick Systems LLC ("Sidekick", "we", "us", or "our") that helps restaurant operators transform POS exports into clean, payroll-ready files for providers like Gusto. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

• Accurate data: you are responsible for ensuring the files and information you upload are accurate and complete.
• Legal compliance: you are responsible for complying with all applicable wage, tax, and employment laws in your jurisdiction.
• Account security: you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

Sidekick is a tool to assist with payroll preparation. Final review and submission of payroll remains your responsibility.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
• Upload data you do not have the right to process, or share your account with unauthorized parties.
• Use the service to harm, defraud, or mislead others.

Sidekick is offered on a subscription basis at $49/month or $490/year. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Billing, tax, invoicing, and refunds are handled securely by Paddle, our merchant of record. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Sidekick offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on all subscription purchases. If you are not satisfied for any reason, you can request a full refund within 30 days of your order date by visiting paddle.net or by emailing support@sidekickpayroll.com. See our Refund Policy for full details.

Sidekick is free to use until your first successful payroll export. Once you complete that first export, continued use requires an active subscription. There is no automatic charge during the trial.

Sidekick is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sidekick Systems LLC and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including payroll errors, missed payments, or tax issues.

You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any output before submitting payroll.

You can stop using Sidekick at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used abusively, with notice where reasonable.

We may update these terms occasionally. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
