Sidekick is operated by Sidekick Systems LLC ("Sidekick", "we", "us", or "our"). We help restaurant operators turn POS exports into payroll-ready files. We take your privacy seriously and only collect what we need to deliver the service. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it.

We collect a minimal amount of information:

• Account info: your email address and basic profile details you provide during sign-up.
• Uploaded files: the POS exports and payroll data you upload so Sidekick can process them.
• Usage data: basic information about how you interact with the app (e.g. successful exports) to keep the service running smoothly.

• To process your payroll files and generate Gusto-ready exports.
• To maintain your account and subscription.
• To improve the product, fix bugs, and add features.
• To communicate important account or service updates.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your payroll data to train third-party AI models.

Your data is stored on secure, industry-standard cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to the systems and personnel needed to operate the service. We follow standard security practices to protect against unauthorized access, but no system is 100% secure.

Sidekick relies on a small number of trusted providers:

• Paddle: handles subscription billing and payment processing as our merchant of record.
• Authentication provider: manages secure sign-in and account credentials.
• Cloud infrastructure: hosts the application and stores your data securely.

Each provider has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data on our behalf.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request corrections to inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Export your data in a portable format.
